Hemos Llegado!

Hemos llegado! I finally made it to Loja. As much fun Montañita and Puerto Lopez were I couldn’t wait to see my family and my hometown. It had been almost four years since I had seen them or eaten my food! I spent most of my time with my aunt and cousins I spent my childhood with. Since everyone in my family was in vacation mode no one wanted to take my pictures, gladly Jason is easy to convince with ice cream or money. 🙂

I went into the center of the city where the main cathedral of our city, Loja, is located. During this time there is a “caminata,” which is just a long walk, religious believers  of the Virgin Mary, known as La Reina Del Cisne, do usually as a promise. They walk for hours till they get to the Cathedral where all the believers can see her and pray. I managed to convince Jason, my lil bro, to take pics so that I could show you what I was wearing.

Till the next post!

I was feeling myself this day, as you can see.
