La Tricolor

No matter what social media you follow me on you must have come by the fun fact that I am Ecuadorian. Being an immigrant in the USA I have always had an internal struggle of identifying my Ecuadorian and my American side. Always trying to find where the Ecuadorian line begins and the American ends. As the years sneak up on me I have come to realize that it is not necessary. I’ve come to understand that I can love being Ecuadorian-American. On that note I think subconsciously I wanted to display that more then ever in my outfit. I’m wearing the primary colors that my home country displays on the flag and the colors the country I was raised in proudly represent. It might have been the same subconscious and indirect way I want to remind Donald Trump and those who ignorantly follow him and believe in his anti immigrant views that we are Americans too.

By the way Rebdolls is taking over my closet. How adorable is this crop top?! It’s from the blogger GarnerStyle collection. It fits me right where my jeans hit.
